ORIGINAL MOUNT AND BLADE MODS PORTED TO WARBAND PC
In this first section we focus on the original game. If you want to get to grips with the concepts in the game and learn how to battle your way to glory, then read on. The introduction of a multiplayer element took the series to new highs. In this guide we take a look at some handy hints and tips for the original Mount and Blade and the follow-up, subtitled Warband. The original scope of the game was expanded by some great mods and its developer, TaleWorlds, made several additions through patches before releasing a sequel that absorbed some of the most popular new ideas.
Part of the secret of this success was support and accessibility for the modding community. It was a sleeper hit that spread thanks to a positive response from an appreciative audience. It combined elements of traditional RPGs, such as quests and an inventory, with an excellent melee combat system that allowed you to fight with swords and various other weapons. The single player adventure game was completely open-ended allowing you to carve your own path through the fictional medieval setting of Calradia.
ORIGINAL MOUNT AND BLADE MODS PORTED TO WARBAND MOD
My personal favorite mod for the orginal Mount and Blade is the Star Wars mod, which was the most changed version of M&B I've seen, and it was quite impressive. The original Mount and Blade was officially released in September 2008. 3 of these very good mods are having trouble crossing over, and having sorts of issues. Why? There's a good 8+ mods that were VERY, VERY, VERY well done for the orginal Mount and Blade that didn't crossover to Warband. I believe you should purchase regular Mount and Blade, with Warband. Warband: Best for singleplayer, quite a few interesting mods on it. I know there's a singleplayer mod or two for it if it doesn't offer a good one, it's five dollars, I'd get it. Napoleonic Wars: I haven't tried this personally, it looks great, I'm getting it soon. Floris mod pack is also pretty impressive for Warband.į&S: Good singleplayer, a lot of unique gameplay, decent balance in weapons for singleplayer, few storylines based off novels, and more things you wouldn't see on orginal warband. These are great singleplayer only mods, that either add story, tons of new items, new types of gameplay, more features for skills, more ways to make, spend money ect. Warband offers many singleplayer mods, some of them are very good example: Light and Darkness, Blue Blood, and some Pendor mod I can barely remember. Warband is probably the better choice, for a few reasons.
These are quite fun, and can lead to you leading an empire, ect. There's also 3 story lines you can follow that line up with some novels, and what not. "With Fire and Sword is just the original with guns Not that special." You never played fire and sword then, there's a lot of historical accuracy in this version.
